Selling our wares

Samantha and I participated in our home-school groups entrepreneur night.  We had a great time there and were happy to sell some of our wares that we worked so hard on.  The hard part for her and I to decide is what to make.  Do we want to bake or craft?  Decisions, decisions.  No easy task for either of us, we love both, sooooo we did both.

We baked cupcakes (we have a lemon cupcake recipe that is to die for), Angenettes (my family recipe for an Italian citrus cookie), Russian Tea Cakes (or Italian Wedding cakes) are another family favorite, 7 layer bars (you can’t go wrong with layers of butter, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate, butterscotch, nuts, coconut and the rich taste of condensed milk) and almond bark.

Then we crafted tile coasters, glitter ornaments, painted ornaments, hot plates, body scrub and play dough.  The play dough was a hit.  The coaster were already down to half the inventory we started with.
