I have been busy….

making lots of things, canning more yummy goodies and just trying to accomplish all the things on my to do list.

One thing I really wanted to accomplish was to make remineralizing toothpaste.  I saw something somewhere that led me here, so I quickly pinned it on my Pinterest and went on with my day….well actually my month….or if I am to be totally truthful my last few months, but little by little I acquired the ingredients.  I had to get the best deal on all the ingredients, ha sometimes I wonder about myself, all that time finding a good deal but it is worth it.

So I went back to Wellness Mama and put together the recipe exactly as she had it.  I did purchase the Brushing Blend from Ora Wellness, which I now use on my floss and in the Remineralizing Toothpaste recipe from Wellness Mama.  I will let you know if I notice a difference in the next couple of weeks by using the toothpaste.

I bought my ingredients from these places:

I found the Bentonite Clay at Whole Foods, but I am sure you can find it other places.  The Xylitol I purchased is more grainy so I used my coffee type grinder to make is more of a powder and it worked perfectly.  I stirred the mixture minus the Bentonite Clay with a whisk for a good looooonnng time until it was smooth, then added the clay and used a wooden spoon to finish stirring as she states to not use metal to stir the clay.

The paste came out beautifully now to see how it works.

Stay tuned.

Peace & Love
