Day 2, another amazing day visiting wineries! The day started with a walk around Charlottesville Historic Downtown Mall. We grabbed a piece of pie and a coffee at The Pie Chest, delicious! Strolled around and shopped a bit. A lovely relaxing morning in this adorable town.
Stop #1 – King Family Vineyards
What a gorgeous spot this was. The wine was fantastic, the people were kind, overall a great time! How about this scenery though, right?
Stop #2 – Grace Estate Winery
This stop was another favorite. The tasting room was in the gorgeous barn and the host was so personable and made the tasting extra enjoyable. Met a nice couple who came in and asked to share a tasting between them. We were like, um duh, why didn’t we think of that? We could hit so many more spots sharing the tasting.
Stop #3 – Stintson Vineyards
And another enjoyable spot with lovely wines. As I quickly learning, my memory was limited and apparently I forgot to take any photos here. Sometimes we are just in the moment and it looks like this was one of those spots. So this means I need to return here soon. Don’t forget to checkout their Instagram for some great photos too.
Stop #4 – White Hall Vineyards
This was our last stop of the day and it was a bit on the late end and very near closing. We were welcomed right in and had such a lovely time with the lady pouring the wine tastings. Another fail at photos, but definitely checkout their instagram or website, there are some beautiful pictures of this lovely place.
Lovely day and we found some great wineries, shopping and dinner too. Thank you for joining me on this little overview of day 2 on our trip visiting Virginia wineries.
If you missed the first day, you can check it out here.
Peace, love and joy to all!
