A little plug for a great small business..

So I love Kombucha, it is yummy and it fills the need for something fizzy.  I don’t do soda but I do love that fizzy feeling from it and Kombucha does that.  My first try of Kombucha was not a good one, I bought one from a grocery store and gave it a shot, it was GROSS!  I planned to never try it again, that is until I happened across this great little festival – Heritage Harvest Festival at Monticello about a year and a half ago.  Great little festival for exploring new foods, business, gardening ideas, and so much more.  There is where we discovered this little gem – Barefoot Bucha.  We all liked it including my now 14 and 15 year old.  The problem was we could not find it anywhere here in Fredericksburg, VA because we are pretty much devoid of any great health food store, no Whole Food, no Trader Joes.  We do have a Wegman’s but I am not their biggest fan in the organic food department.  Then one day I heard there was this great little store opening in downtown Fredericksburg – Kickshaws, I dropped in found a great brand of coffee and a few other goodies.  I came home and followed them on Facebook and one day I saw a post that said Barefoot Bucha was going to be installing at their shop.  I couldn’t get there fast enough.

You can read all about Barefoot Bucha via the link above and see who they are and what they offer.

For my local friends make sure you pop into Kickshaws for some Barefoot Bucha and loads of great groceries including a nice selection of Gluten-Free products.

I also want to give them a shout out for being open Christmas Eve morning so I could get my bottles refilled with lovely kombucha, thank you.

Okay that is all for now, off to bake, clean and drop a meal in the crock pot for dinner.

Peace & Happiness,
Dawn
