And one more from my old blog, just wanted to get all my info I previously shared into this blog, enjoy!
Eating organic
Sometimes I get complacent and think aw heck why bother and then I find an article like this – 10 Dirty Fruits and Veggies and I am once again reminded why I don’t want to feed my family non-organic fruits and veggies, it is gross to think of all the chemicals on our food. I wonder how can this be allowed? Why aren’t we all more appalled by this?
I am thankful for the reminders to find clean food and seek out chemical free products.
If you think you can’t afford to live chemical free think again. Today I found the veggie wash I use was on clearance at Bloom for .75 and Burt’s Bees Hair conditioner on clearance for $1.39. Plus you should check out some of the online places that offer discounted chemical free products, list to follow.
Organic items from Amazon – they also have a subscribe and save. I use this for my coconut oil and will now add toilet paper and paper towels and possibly a few more things. Think of the gas you will save.
Drugstore.com – here you will find lots of great chemical free items, remember to read the ingredients though as some are only partially clean products and still may contain some chemicals.
If you are local and Quail Cove Farms delivers to your area this is a great place to get some organic foods and delivered to your front door too. Quail Cove Farms
Okay this post is mostly about eating organic and living green but here is another way to save some money while doing so. I use this link when I shop at Drugstore.com and get a percentage back in my account. So check out BigCrumbs.com
That’s all for now I have so much fun information to share, I hope you will pop in often to check it out.
