Happy Winery Wednesday – Magnolia Vineyards

#magnoliavineyards

My winery for today is a cute little spot that we found totally by accident. I love it when that happens.

MAGNOLIA VINEYARDS
Located at 200 Viewtown Road, Amissville, Virginia

Tasting Room Hours – Thursday – Monday 11:30 – 5:30

Tasting Fee: $10.00 per person includes a keepsake glass and a cheese pairing.

Part of the Virginia Wine Pass (5% off bottle purchase; 10% off the purchase of 6 or more bottles) (Currently the Virginia Wine Pass is on sale or check out Groupon too).

What’s really cool is that for every 2 bottles of wine purchased they’ll waive a tasting fee.

We stopped here on our way home from our trip to another winery, it was kind of rainy and gloomy but once you were inside their new tasting room and met their sweet pups the day felt sunny and happy. I can’t wait to go back here and get some amazing photos, for now the blanket will have to do, lol.

They welcome supervised children and pets. (Pets must be on leash and remain outside of the tasting room).
Don’t forget your picnic.

We ended up having our wine tasting with Tina one of the owner’s, what a treat. Well thought out, interactive and caring. You will leave there feeling appreciated and happy.

What is special:
Live musicCheese Pairing with the tasting.
The views
The owners are present and attentive
Buy 2 bottles and the fee to taste is waived.
This is one of those wineries you’ll want to spend time at so bring a picnic, some good friends and a joyful spirit and enjoy!

I failed here on pictures. Since it was raining outside I didn’t get any shots of the winery itself, but here are a couple of shots of things I thought were cute.

When I go back I will take lots of pictures and update this post.
If you stop in, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
